Thanksgiving usually involves staying in to enjoy a massive roast turkey and an incredible amount of food. However, not everyone spends the day at home. Audiences can expect to see anyone from Spongebob, Pikachu and even Goku hovering above their heads while celebrity acts perform on the floats below. If parades aren’t your thing, there’s no better time to enjoy the typical tourist spots of New York, such as Empire State Building and the Statue of Liberty. If you want to avoid the cold and enjoy an unconventional Thanksgiving, Miami is the way to go. With warm temperatures and clean beaches, Miami isn’t what you’d usually expect to see during Thanksgiving. But it’s an opportunity you can’t miss!

As you’d expect, a lot of locals will be celebrating the holiday at home, so the beaches are less crowded than usual. Relaxing on the beach all day before heading into town to chow down on your Thanksgiving meal isn’t an opportunity you can pass up.
