TrekAmerica/Travelopia Employment Scam

We have been made aware of a group of people posing as employees of TrekAmerica & Travelopia who are offering employment in North America for a fake company called Treck Canada. This is a phishing scam to obtain personal & banking details and is not connected with our company. TrekAmerica & Travelopia would never ask for payment upfront from job applicants or recruit staff without face to face interviews.

The scam is very elaborate involving professional job application documents and dummy websites.  If you have been approached via job websites offering employment with either Treck Canada, TrekAmerica or Travelopia please do not send any personal details and cease all communications.

Applications will be accepted for the 2019 season beginning November 12th, 2018. Please remember that the amount of applicants we receive is much higher than the positions available, so please send us your information as soon as possible.

Our Group Leaders are an incredible collection of individuals and represent a variety of backgrounds. Our seasonal summer positions can run from early April through the middle of September or later.

Route 66WHO WE ARE?

We are looking for organized, adventurous, dynamic and flexible people to be Group Leaders for our trips. A Group Leader organizes outdoor activities, provides city sightseeing excursions, arranges night-time entertainment, teaches campground etiquette and delegates chores ranging from cooking to loading the equipment into the trailer. A leader also performs daily administration tasks such as accounting, driving, daily logistics, researching unfamiliar territory and managing the ever changing group dynamics.
