A visit to North America's iconic national parks and wilderness regions often doesn't let you do more than scratch the surface, but our dedicated walking tours, featuring two to three night stays in many of the more spectacular locations, let you linger longer for the ultimate in exploration. HIKING FOR ALL ABILITIES
Our walking tours are designed for active adults and offer a well-paced mix of walks and hikes for all levels of fitness. Most walks are of moderate difficulty and are up to four hours in length. For the more adventurous, there are optional moderate to strenuous hikes up to eight hours long in some destinations. Our leaders enjoy spending as much time as possible on the trails with their groups and as interests and capabilities vary, our leaders will typically guide hikes according to groups' needs and the difficulty of hikes. On tours with two leaders, they will either guide separate hikes or offer additional activities.
COMFORTABLE CAMPING
We know that when camping in the great outdoors, comfort is key. You'll enjoy only the highest quality camping equipment, including spacious top of the range dome tents and air mattresses, sturdy camp chairs for those fireside chats, gas lanterns and a state of the art camping stove to complete our portable field kitchen. Many of our campgrounds have a high standard of amenities including hot showers and flush toilets, while others even have swimming pools & shops. Sometimes we stay in more rustic facilities, choosing to sacrifice creature comforts for natural beauty and convenience.
