A specially extended version of this tour operates over Christmas & New Year and spends two nights in New York City for New Year's Eve
Departing urban life, you make your way to Niagara Falls for an evening viewing to see what makes this one of North America's most beloved attractions. Made up of three waterfalls, this mighty natural wonder will blow you away. What it lacks in height it definitely makes up for in sheer volume of water, and the noise is pretty immense too!
Bordering the USA and Canada, the best way to see the falls is on an optional ‘Maid of the Mist’ cruise - prepare to get wet as you get a truly awesome perspective of the falls up close and personal. Then it's time to cross Rainbow Bridge into beautiful Canada.
Toronto is where all the trendy people are at, with high-fashion stores and cosy cafes on College and Queen Streets, there is no shortage of cool places to hang out. View the city from above with a trip to the top of the CN Tower and gaze across the beautiful Lake Ontario.
Expect a little European flair, as Montreal is the second largest French-speaking city in the world (beaten only by Paris). Museums, galleries, eateries and clubs make up a cocktail of the best bits from both continents, and we promise you're definitely in for a good time here. Don't miss out on the ‘Underground City’ which includes 30km devoted to all things retail, or an adventurous jet boat ride on the river. Ever eaten your dinner in complete darkness? Well, now you can with a visit to O'Noir, a restaurant where the waiters are blind and you eat in the pitch black. Make sure you don't wear your best clothes, it's sure to get messy!
During the winter, this 'Ski Capital of the East' puts on an incredible winter spread, but Stowe remains a highlight during the summer months too. With hiking, biking and swimming on offer, this really is an adventure lover's playground. If 'Chunky Monkey' and 'Phish Food' mean something to you, then you're going to love Stowe with an included visit to the one and only Ben & Jerry's ice-cream factory!
Head to Boston for a slice of history starting with a walk along the Freedom Trail and a stop at some of America's historical hotspots. Boston's not all about the history though. We've also laid on a trip to Harvard University to see the brains of America hard at work. Sports lovers rejoice as Boston is famous for its baseball and football teams, so try and catch a game to experience the real America. And of course, a trip to Boston wouldn't be complete without a trip to the famous 'Cheers' bar for a cheeky beverage.
Head back towards the 'city that never sleeps'. For a storybook ending to an incredible trip, we highly recommend adding on a night or two to explore incredible New York City. There's so much to see and do, from a trip to the top of the Empire State Building to a shopping spree along Fifth Avenue, the opportunities are endless. If you don't know where to begin then why not book a hop-on hop-off bus tour or one of our city tours guided by a local?
This tour ends at our gateway hotel at approximately 17:00 hrs. We can book you post-tour accommodation at our gateway hotel if required. If you are planning to fly tonight, please do not book a flight that departs before 21:00 hrs.
Our tours usually depart at 07:30am and finish around 5:00pm at designated hotels in our gateway cities, so it's a great idea to book a room for the night before and after your tour. It's also worth staying extra nights to explore the city more. You must book these hotels in advance either online with your tour or by contacting our friendly sales team.
