Flexible Itinerary

Our routes have been carefully chosen to include the best night stops and highlights. However, as local conditions and passenger requests vary, no two trips will ever be the same. With the guidance of your Trek Leader you may modify certain night stops and highlights to give a truly unique experience!

As this tour departs at 0730 we recommend that you book pre-tour accommodation. Please request hotel details at the time of booking.

  • Day 1: Vancouver & Tofino

    Departing Vancouver early our two hour ferry crossing to Vancouver Island is the perfect way to enjoy Canada's rugged and beautiful scenery en route to Tofino. Our home for the next two nights, enjoy free time this afternoon to explore the surrounding trails and coastline.

  • Day 2: Tofino

    Rise early today for your bear watching excursion which sees you strike out across the ocean to witness these incredible mammals in their natural habitat from the vantage of the water. These Canadian icons roam the shores in search of their favourite delicacy, the Rock Crab. Also expect to see eagles, seals and other wildlife as you cruise along the shoreline. Keep your eyes peeled for whales which frequent these waters to hunt from March until October, plus there's time to go on a dedicated whale watching cruise or explore the trails on dry land.

  • Day 3: Tofino & Victoria

    After our second morning at Tofino we head to Victoria, Vancouver Island's largest city, located on the southern tip. After a walking tour the rest of the evening is at your leisure.

  • Day 4: Victoria & Vancouver

    The morning is free to explore Victoria's New England feel and stroll around the inner harbour, museums, art galleries and much more. In the afternoon we head back to Vancouver for a sightseeing tour beginning with a scenic drive through Stanley Park, a 4,000-hectare green wonderland. See the authentic totem poles erected in the 1920s and buy some moreish maple sugar candies. Stop by Prospect Point, a scenic lookout where you gaze out at spectacular views of Lion's Gate Bridge, North Vancouver and West Vancouver.

    This tour ends at our gateway hotel at approximately 17:00 hrs. If you are planning to fly tonight, please do not book a flight that departs before 21:00 hrs.
