Our routes have been carefully chosen to include the best night stops and highlights. However, as local conditions and passenger requests vary, no two trips will ever be the same. With the guidance of your Trek Leader you may modify certain night stops and highlights to give a truly unique experience!

Day 1: New York & Washington DC

There is only one New York City, an eclectic melting pot of excitement, diversity, glamour and fun which never sleeps. As the entertainment capital of the World, New York is blessed with an overwhelming array of shops and attractions such as theatre, music and museums to world-champion sporting events. Towering architecture meet wide avenues and narrow backstreets, superb cuisine and beautiful bars lay alongside treasures of art and culture and definitive buzz draws travellers and nationalities from all over the world. Everyone loves New York City!

To enjoy the best of the Big Apple we include a 3.5 hour 'Slice of New York' tour where you ride the subway from Central Station, enjoy views Statue of Liberty, wander through Manhattan past the Wall Street and the Financial District, Ground Zero and views of Brooklyn Bridge. Plus get a local taste of New York with lunch at a local pizza joint. Finish the morning passing the gothic Woolworth Tower and ending in front of New York City Hall, the oldest hall in the United States.
From here we drive to Washington DC. You have free time to head off and explore the city by evening and night.

Day 2: Washington DC & Philadelphia

As the nation's capital city, DC captures the true spirit of America. Patriotism, the fight for freedom and a diverse history which spans centuries are present on every corner. Today we have a full day to explore, visiting local sights such as The Capitol, Supreme Court, Library of Congress, Botanic Garden and Union Station. In the late afternoon we make our way to Philadelphia, or 'Philly' as the locals call it.

Day 3: Philadelphia & New York Area

Made famous as the birthplace of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, Philadelphia offers an array of cobblestone streets, historical landmarks as well as cultural and culinary treasures.

Enjoy a guided tour to explore Philadelphia and view some of the iconic sights of Independence National Park, including Independence Hall, the National Constitution Center, and the Liberty Bell (even going inside if queues allow). Admire Carpenter's Hall and the Arch Street Meeting House, plus head inside Christ Church and the Curtis Center (weekdays only). Absorb the rich historical significance of landmarks like the Betsy Ross House, Franklin Court, Old City Hall, and the Second Bank of the US. Visit local businesses and watering holes like Old City Coffee Shop and a local brewpub, where we treat you to a locally-brewed ale or another beverage of your choice. From here we make our way back to the buzzy metropolis of New York where your adventure finishes around 17:00. If you have booked a flight out this evening please make it after 21:00.
