Trek Notes

The tour will pick-up from our gateway hotel, The Hacienda, at 07:30 hours followed by The Banana Bungalows (address below) in LA at 08:30 hours.

You must specify at the time of booking if you want to be picked up at the Banana Bungalows hostel otherwise it will be presumed you will meet the group at The Hacienda.

Flexible Itinerary

Our routes have been carefully chosen to include the best night stops and highlights. However, as local conditions and passenger requests vary, no two trips will ever be the same. With the guidance of your Trek Leader you may modify certain nightstops and highlights to give a truly unique experience!

• Day: 1 Los Angeles & Lake Havasu

  Wake up to Hollywood's highlights on a tour of Rodeo Drive, Mann's Chinese Theatre and view of the famous Hollywood sign. Then it's across the Mojave Desert to the Colorado River and Lake Havasu - home of the original London Bridge, for a refreshing dip in a desert oasis and our first night under the stars.

• Day: 2 Lake Havasu & Grand Canyon

  Continue across vast desert landscapes to the grandest canyon of them all for a chance to hike the spectacular South Rim Trail and toast the setting sun. Kick back and enjoy the camaraderie of an open campfire and the hearty grub of a good old fashion American BBQ!

• Day: 3 Grand Canyon & Las Vegas

  Greet the rising sun for one last view of the Grand Canyon on an optional scenic flight before stepping back in time on historic Route 66. After a quick stop at the Hoover Dam and famous Las Vegas sign it's time for our included limousine tour and a big night out on the town!

• Day: 4 Las Vegas & Los Angeles

  Enjoy a much needed lie-in or a chance to hit Vegas' famous outlet malls before heading back across the Mojave to LA, but not before lunch at Peggy Sue's Diner and a serving of Americana at its best!

  Tour will drop off at our gateway hotel, The Hacienda, at approx 17:00 hours and will end at a centrally located Los Angeles hostel at approx 18:00 hours
