  • Day 1-2: New York Area, Philadelphia & Washington DC

First stop is Philadelphia or 'Philly' as the locals call it, to see the Liberty Bell, eat a delicious local cheese steak and climb the steps from the movie 'Rocky'! Cast your eyes on Independence Hall where brave men gathered at the Pennsylvania State House and defied the King of England, an event which helped shape the U.S. Constitution and eventually created one unified nation. You may want to head down to Reading Terminal Market and fill your nose with local mouth-watering aromas and local flavours. Head to the nation's capital where America's leaders shape the country's future. As the day starts to turn to night, why not hit the city for an evening illuminated view of the famous icons such as the White House, Jefferson Monument and Capitol Hill. When it comes to DC's museums 'Land of the Free' is spot on: barely any of them, sensational Smithsonian included, will cost you a dime. A good idea is to rise early and visit the Lincoln Memorial before the crowds arrive or rent a bike and hit the main sites.

Your guide will give you information about past and present on the tribal lands and helps you scratch below the surface. You then spend an unforgettable night in a traditional Navajo Hogan, hearing secret stories and legends around the campfire.
    Accommodation: Hogan included

  • Day 16-17: Grand Canyon National Park

Just when the scenery seems unbeatable, journey to the Grand Canyon, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. With two days there is more than enough time to walk the rim trails for views across the canyon and sunset watching the rocks change colour under the burning sun. But there is also time to follow the snaking trails into the canyon for views of the Colorado River. One of the unmissable excursions is to opt for a helicopter flight over the Canyon for a very different bird's eye view. Whatever you choose your trip to the Grand Canyon will stay firmly imprinted on your mind forever.

It's brash, it's bizarre and it's brilliant. Catch a show, ride a roller-coaster and enjoy the famous bright lights, casino gambling and non-stop nightlife. Remember the saying "What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas"!
