Tour Itinerary

As this tour departs at 0730 we recommend that you book pre-tour accommodation. Please request hotel details at the time of booking.

  • Day 1: Seattle & Montana

From Seattle we cross Washington through Idaho's Bitterroot Range into Big Sky Country. Montana welcomes us with rugged mountain peaks and wide open spaces.
    Accommodation: Camping included

  • Day 2-3: Yellowstone National Park

After enjoying a night under a brilliant blanket of star, we reach Yellowstone National Park for a glorious two night stay. View explosive geysers and colourful waterfalls while exploring the world's oldest and most famous national park. Keep your eyes peeled for the abundant wildlife. Bison, bear, moose and elk roam the park - best be quick on the draw with your camera. Included is a visit to Boiling River for a well earned soak in the hot springs after exploring the numerous trails.
    Accommodation: Camping included

  • Day 4-5: Jackson/Grand Teton National Park

Next, wonderful views and hikes await in majestic Grand Teton National Park. With few foothills to speak of, the jagged peaks here rise like teeth from lush, flat meadows against bright blue sky. Next we visit the truly western town of Jackson, Wyoming. Rafting the raging Snake River rapids, one of America's last great untamed rivers, should get that adrenaline pumping. So might a shot of 'Red-Eye' Whiskey at the Silver Dollar Saloon.
    Accommodation: Camping included

  • Day 6: Flaming Gorge

Winding through the cliffs of Flaming Gorge, take it easy on the Green River. Settle in for some scenic vistas and red rocks that look out of this world. Explorer Major Powell named this gorge in 1869 after seeing the sun reflecting off these unique red rocks that marks the start of the Desert Southwest.
    Accommodation: Camping included

  • Day 7-8: Moab/Arches National Park

We stop at Dead Horse State Park for that iconic view of the Colorado River, snaking through the canyon floor, before arriving at Moab, America's Mecca for mountain biking enthusiasts. This is the perfect base for two days of exploration and adventure in the nearby Arches National Park. Endless opportunity awaits; take a sunset stroll to Delicate Arch, mountain bike down the famous `Slick Rock Trail or tackle the terrain high above on an extreme guided Hummer tour.
    Accommodation: Camping included

  • Day 9: Monument Valley

Take a breath as we head to the Navajo Tribal Lands of Monument Valley. The only things to pre-date the origins of Native American culture are the towering buttes and mesas which dominate the awe-inspiring landscape. Sacred to the Navajo people and beloved by movie directors, you'll be smitten too, especially with an optional Navajo Indian guided 4x4 tour into the Valley.
    Accommodation: Camping included

  • Day 10-11: Grand Canyon National Park

Next stop is Grand Canyon National Park, with a full day to experience the grandeur of Earth's natural wonder. Hiking this jaw-dropping terrain of striped limestone and sandstone, you might spot red-tailed hawk or majestic golden eagles. Whether you are up with the sun to start your long hike down Bright Angel Trail to Plateau Point, take a leisurely walk around the rim or choose the "bird's eye" view on an optional scenic helicopter flight, you are sure to be left with feelings of awe and amazement.
    Accommodation: Camping included

  • Day 12: Zion National Park

Onwards to Zion National Park to swim and to explore the hidden canyons or maybe hike to Angels Landing. Okay, so getting up there can be devilish at times but those who conquer `Walter's Wiggles', the switchback trail, are
rewarded with breathtaking 360 degree views of one of America's most spectacular National Parks.
    Accommodation: Camping included

  • Day 13: Las Vegas

With a sudden burst of neon, Vegas is right in your face - the greatest show on earth! Cruise "The Strip" in a super-stretch limo, indulge in an all-you-can eat buffet, take in a show or just watch the amazing crowds, neon signs and attractions that many hotel casinos have to offer. And if that's not enough, take a helicopter flight back down The Strip or just gamble the night away in one of the world class casinos.
    Accommodation: Hotel included

  • Day 14: Los Angeles

We stop by the Mojave Desert for that classic Joshua Tree photo stop before making our way to the 'City of Angles', Los Angeles...where the sun goes down and the stars come out. Upon arrival we enjoy a tour of Hollywood and the Walk of Fame before the curtain finally comes down on an incredible tour.

This tour ends at approximately 17:00 hrs. We can book you post-tour accommodation at our gateway hotel if required. If you are planning to fly tonight, please do not book a flight that departs before 22:00 hrs.
