Tour Itinerary

As this tour departs at 0730 we recommend that you book pre-tour accommodation. Please request hotel details at the time of booking.

  • Day 1: Vancouver & Okanagan Valley

From Vancouver you enter a land of snow-dusted mountains, dark conifers and glistening lakes as you cross the up-and-down landscape of British Columbia. You set up camp beside a pristine lake, far removed from the city you started in, before you enjoy getting to know your fellow travellers on your first evening together in wine country.
    Accommodation: Camping included

  • Day 2-3: Yoho National Park

Yoho comes from the Cree word for awe and wonder and as soon as you start hiking through this incredible place you'll soon see why. Negotiate the rapids of the well-named Kicking Horse River which offers some of the best white water rafting in the world. The scenery will continue to impress as you come across Takakkaw Falls, falling from the mountains to the valley below and the vistas keep on coming as you lay eyes on the incredible Emerald Lake with its glacial hues and forest backdrop.
    Accommodation: Camping included

  • Day 4-5: Banff National Park

Boot up and breathe in the crisp alpine air with the resident beavers, bears, porcupines and elk. Whether you explore Banff by car, bike, canoe or snowshoe you will be left speechless by its endless beauty. With 1600 kilometres of trails, a town full of heritage and some incredible wildlife, you won't want to leave this mountain wonderland. Ride the Banff Gondola to the peak of Sulphur Mountain and then recharge your batteries on an included and very relaxing visit to Banff's heavenly hot springs.
    Accommodation: Camping included

  • Day 6: Lake Louise

A nickname like the "gem of the Rockies" is a lot to live up to, but it's no sweat for Lake Louise. The imposing chateau looks on as mountains cluster round the turquoise surface, if this isn't a photo opportunity at its best we don't know what is. Once you've stopped gawking at the incredible scenery that surrounds you hike out to the Plain-of-Six-Glaciers or soak up the scenery by paddle power and rent canoes to explore the lake at your leisure.
    Accommodation: Camping included

  • Day 7-8: Jasper National Park

The widescreen scenery and breath-taking views keep on coming as you drive the Icefields Parkway, offering you panoramic views of endless valleys, sheer ridges, glaciers and spruce forests - truly one of the world's ultimate drives. Jasper's wildlife puts up a fight for your attention too, so keep your eyes peeled and your cameras at the ready for a glimpse of grizzlies, wolves or caribou. This sprawling natural expanse offers many bike and hiking trails through the most spectacular scenery of the Canadian Rockies.
    Accommodation: Camping included

  • Day 9: Wells Gray Provincial Park

Don't let the fact that Wells Gray is not a national park fool you, this place is stunning! Home to the famous Helmcken Falls, Canada's fourth highest waterfall and with beautiful meadows full of wild flowers and bears roaming freely around the park, Wells Gray is what Canadian dreams are made of and nature will never have felt closer. Embrace the stillness, silence and isolation of Wells Gray because your next stop is Whistler and it couldn't be more different.
    Accommodation: Camping included

  • Day 10-11: Whistler

Travel the old Gold Rush trail through Cache Creek and on to the adventure capital of Western Canada! Perhaps better known as a winter resort, Whistler has plenty of heart-pumping action all year-round. Get on your bike, zipline through the trees or even take a scenic glacier flight! Whether you're an adrenaline junkie, foodie or someone who likes to be at one with nature, there's something for everyone in Whistler.
    Accommodation: Camping included

  • Day 12: Vancouver

Return to Vancouver along the Sea-to-Sky Highway, and stop by Stanley Park, a 4,000-hectare green wonder-land. Treat yourself to some moreish Maple Cookies and then head over to Gastown with its award-winning galleries and tons of cafes and restaurants serving delicious food. Make Prospect Point your final stop for a scenic lookout where you can gaze out at spectacular views of Lion's Gate Bridge - the perfect ending to the perfect trip!

This tour ends at our gateway hotel at approximately 17:00 hrs. We can book you post-tour accommodation at our gateway hotel if required. If you are planning to fly tonight, please do not book a flight that departs before 21:00 hrs.
