This trek is an exciting mix of tropical Mexico, ancient Mayan Indian cultures, steamy jungles, mystical highlands and the enchanting, inviting beaches of the Caribbean.

FLEXIBLE ITINERARY
Our routes have been carefully chosen to include the best night stops and highlights. However, as local conditions and passenger requests vary, no two trips will ever be the same. With the guidance of your Trek Leader you may modify certain nightstops and highlights to give a truly unique experience!

Days: 1
Cancun / Merida
We hit the road in Cancun and cruise through the Yucatan to the spectacular Chichen Itza ruins. After exploring this amazing Mayan legacy, we carry on to Merida.
Accommodation: Hotel paid locally.

Days: 2
Merida
This city is full of historic architecture, local markets and surprisingly good restaurants. It's a great place to explore or chill out and absorb the atmosphere. Welcome to colonial Mexico!

Days: 3
Campeche
Leaving the city and its modern conveniences we once again head for the wild side. Hiking around the lost city of Uxmal is a feast for the senses, then we carry on to Campeche, the only coastal walled city in the new world.
Accommodation: Camping included.

Days: 4-5
Palenque
These are the most spectacular ruins in Mexico and they are set in the heart of the steamy jungle. There are howler monkeys and all kinds of birds in the trees, as well as hidden
waterfalls and natural pools.
Accommodation: Camping included.

Days: 6-8
San Cristobal de las Casas
A cool place to stay in the mountains with fantastic Indian markets and fascinating cobblestone streets to wander. We visit the outlying native Indian villages for a glimpse into
their culture. This place will stay forever with you in your memories.

Days: 9
Chiapas
Driving back down to the lowerplains we visit the rambling cascades of Agua Azul. Striking blue waterfalls form perfect natural pools where you can kick back and just relax in the sun. Then, Misol Ha Waterfall cascades some 35meters down into a jungle lagoon - perfect for a refreshing swim.

Bacalar
We travel across the vast Yucatan peninsula to the crystal clear lagoon at Bacalar. After a swim in the Caribbean spring water, why not enjoy a margarita over sunset?!
Accommodation: Lodging paid locally.

Playa del Carmen
The crown jewel of the trip- three nights on the Mayan Riviera. Caribbean sunny beaches and adrenaline awaits! Explore underground caves, quad bike or dive before enjoying the freshest seafood and icy cold cervezas on the beach.

Days: 14
Cancun
After enjoying the morning on the beach, we return to Cancun to say farewell. Hasta la vista, baby!
Tour ends at 18:00 hrs in Cancun on day 14.
