  • NEW 2017 ITINERARY

  • Day 1-2: Vancouver & Whistler

Depart Vancouver and join Western Canada's mecca for thrill-seekers - get on your bike and hit the trails or zip line through the trees. The main draw to Whistler is the epic mountains coated in the white stuff, but Whistler is so much more than just snow! There's so many of hiking and biking trails around town, you won't know where to start. This truly is a beautiful place to start your Canadian adventure.
    Accommodation: Hostel nights included

  • Day 3-4: Wells Gray Provincial Park

Wells Gray has something to offer every outdoor lover, from lush alpine meadows to excellent bird and wildlife watching opportunities. If it's waterfalls you're after then you've come to the right place. Helmcken Falls, a 141 metre waterfall on the Murtle River, is one of the 40 named waterfalls around the park. With beautiful meadows full of wildflowers and bears roaming freely around the park, Wells Gray is a Canadian wonderland just waiting for you and your Trek mates to explore! For the ultimate rustic experience, tonight you'll be staying within the park at an authentic guest ranch.
    Accommodation: Rustic bunkhouse included (multi-share)

  • Day 5-6: Jasper National Park

Lose yourself in one of Canada's largest national parks, Jasper, where wildlife such as Grizzly Bear, wolves and caribou literally fight for your attention, making it the perfect place to be at one with nature. This sprawling natural expanse offers hiking and biking trails through some of the most spectacular scenery that the Canadian Rockies has to offer. Enjoy the stunning views with an included trip on Canada's longest and highest aerial tramway, the Jasper Skytram, and take a canoe trip on Maligne Lake for a true Canadian experience.
    Accommodation: Hotel nights included

  • Day 7-8: Icefields Parkway & Banff National Park

The widescreen scenery keeps on coming your way. The Icefields Parkway provides panoramic views of endless valleys, sheer ridges, glaciers and spruce forests - truly one of the world's ultimate drives. Banff is Canada's oldest national park and it's definitely up there with the best in the world. Whether you explore Banff by car, bike, canoe or snowshoe you'll be left speechless by its endless beauty. With 1600 kilometres of trails, a town full of heritage and some incredible wildlife, you won't want to leave this mountain wonderland. Your leader will take you to Johnston Canyon, which is easily one of the national park's most popular day hikes. For more canyon action and stunning forest scenery, enjoy a leisurely hike to Stewart Canyon. Before you leave be sure to spend some time relaxing in the local hot springs; after hiking all those trails your weary feet will thank you!
    Accommodation: Hostel nights included

  • Day 9: Lake Louise & Calgary

As soon as you lay eyes on Lake Louise you'll have no problem understanding why it was given the nickname the `Gem of the Rockies'. The turquoise lake will have you pinching yourself in disbelief that somewhere could be this picture perfect. Once you've stopped gawking at the incredible scenery that surrounds you, we suggest taking a hike out to the Plain-of-Six-Glaciers or walking to the far end of the lake on the Lakeshore Trail. Looking for something a little different? After a day of exploring, make your way towards the city of Calgary where your Canadian adventure comes to an end upon arrival.

This tour ends at our gateway hotel at approximately 17:00 hrs. We recommend booking post-tour accommodation if time allows. If you are planning to fly tonight, please do not book a flight that departs before 21:00 hrs.
