  • Day 1-2: Anchorage & Wrangell-St. Elias National Park

Leaving Anchorage we test the challenging McCarthy Road north past the massive Mantanuska Glacier. This humongous expanse claims Alaska's wild crown hands down. Untended trails, unpaved roads and unending views for the next 2 days are exactly what you signed up for! As the Wrangell Mountains cast their lengthy shadow, ready yourself for some top-notch glacier action. How about a guided hike on the Kennicott Glacier, or for a more vertical challenge clip on the crampons for some ice climbing on Root Glacier.
    Accommodation: Camping included

  • Day 3: Tangle Lakes

Great name and great place to chill out after the challenging, yet scenic drive, along the Alaska Mountain Range, crossing the famous 800-mile-long Alaskan Pipeline. Lake-splattered green plains stretch to distant mountains, and some wilderness canoeing should up your pulse rate.
    Accommodation: Camping included

  • Day 4-6: Denali National Park

Surrounded by the tallest mountain peaks in North America, Denali National Park is jam-packed with grizzlies, caribou, Dall sheep and wolves, and you have an included 2 day bus pass to enjoy everything that this incredible park has to offer. A dog sled demonstration is included, and amazing photo opportunities await at every turn. Standing at over 20,320 feet, Mount McKinley dominates every view on a blue sky day, and a scenic flight will blow you away.
    Accommodation: Camping included

  • Day 7: Anchorage

Experience Denali's wilderness up close. The park rangers actively encourage you to walk anywhere, so the possibilities are endless! Return to Anchorage to explore the local breweries for a proper Alaskan send off! Why not extend your stay and make the most of the glaciers, trails, salmon streams and state park which surround the city.

This tour ends at our gateway hotel at approximately 18:00 hrs. We can book you post-tour accommodation at our gateway hotel if required. If you are planning to fly tonight, please do not book a flight that departs before 22:00 hrs.
