Heed the call of the wild! From glimmering glaciers and snow-peaked mountains, to abundant wildlife-filled valleys, Alaska has it all. Scan the heights of the largest mountain in North America to the depths of glacier carved valleys through the plains of the tundra and taiga. Hike in the pristine wilderness, canoe or raft in glacier-fed rivers or fly to the base of "the Great One". Experience our last true frontier and go "North to Alaska".

Alaskan trips pass through rugged terrain and isolated areas. Many areas / campgrounds will have spartan facilities and little nightlife.

FLEXIBLE ITINERARY
Our routes have been carefully chosen to include the best night stops and highlights. However, as local conditions and passenger requests vary, no two trips will ever be the same. With the help of your Trek Leader and fellow trekkers you may modify certain nightstops and highlights to give a truly unique experience!

Anchorage, Alaska Range & Wrangell Mountains
We leave Anchorage and test the challenging McCarthy Road north past the massive Mantanuska Glacier en route to the towering Wrangell Mountains in Wrangell-St. Elias National Park. While in this area, you will have time for a guided glacier hike or to try ice-climbing on the nearby Kennicott glacier.

Tangle Lake
Explore this vast wilderness, before crossing the mighty Alaska Mountain Range. Cross the Alaskan Pipeline and spend one night camping in the Tangle Lakes region before arriving at Denali National Park.

Days: 4-6
Denali National Park
Travel the lone road in this awe-inspiring national park on two full day scenic bus rides to endless views and hiking opportunities. Experience this pristine preserve with its ancient residents (moose, caribou, fox, and of course, grizzly bear) and hike in the shadows of Mt. McKinley (North America's highest mountain at 20,320 ft). This national park will quickly show you why it has a reputation throughout the world.

Anchorage
Returning to Anchorage, our trip is not complete until you experience a scenic flight over some of the most beautiful and rugged snow-capped peaks in the world.
Tours ends at 18:00 hrs in Anchorage on day 7.
