California Forest Fires - Yosemite Area
Update: Fri 01 Aug 2014 16:20 BST (UK)
All roads have now been re-opened and all trips are operating as normal.
Seasonal forest fires are affecting some areas of California, with one in particular burning near to the western entrance of Yosemite National Park. Tours are being re-routed as necessary and will access Yosemite Valley via the Tioga Pass or Highway 140, with alternative arrangements being made for any groups scheduled to stay near the affected areas.
Please note Yosemite National Park is 3'081 square km (twice the size of Greater London) and the park is currently open to all visitors.
We continue to monitor the situation closely and will provide additional information as and when it becomes available.
