"Going on a road trip is my favourite way to explore somewhere new. Why? It's all about the freedom. Stop when you want, wind the windows down when you want, blast your favourite music and sing along without annoying anyone else (well, apart from maybe your road trip buddies!) and seeing that stretch of road in front of you ready to explore on your own terms: incredible."
Char Taylor from Taylor Hearts Travel

"I want to embrace my inner hippy and enjoy the laid-back, boho vibe. I also want to try out ALL of the eateries, especially The Kitchen Sink Ice-Cream Challenge at San Fran Creamery! It goes without saying that I want to snap the Golden Gate Bridge, the pier, the cute cable cars...the list is never-ending!"

Amongst many reasons, I want to visit America to run on the sands of Californian beaches, past the lifeguard towers re-living episodes of Baywatch (with or without 'the Hoff'). I'll be ready..."
Naomi Todd from Todds Travels
Naomi made the most of her year abroad in between her second and third year of uni and travelled around South America, in particular Colombia, a country she is hugely passionate about. Todd's Travels is a product from this year abroad and what a great read it makes.
"When I go to America I want to try everything: pulled pork, proper mac n' cheese and everything with bacon as a side. For me in particular, the south has got to be the place to go for food. Jambalaya, gumbo and po'boys it has to be the ultimate comfort food. I would want to try all the unusual dishes on offer such as alligator, because if you don't try it in the US when can you?"
