Flexible Itinerary

Our routes have been carefully chosen to include the best night stops and highlights. However, as local conditions and passenger requests vary, no two trips will ever be the same. With the guidance of your Trek Leader you may modify certain night stops and highlights to give a truly unique experience!

As this tour departs at 0730 we recommend that you book pre-tour accommodation. Please request hotel details at the time of booking.

Day 1: Los Angeles & Colorado River

Tour Hollywood's highlights, including the famous Hollywood sign, Rodeo Drive and people watching at the eclectic Venice Beach. Then it's off to the Mojave Desert, stopping by Colorado River for some stunning red rock landscapes - don't forget your camera! Next is Lake Havasu for a refreshing dip and your first night under the stars.

Day 2: Lake Havasu & Grand Canyon National Park

Cross vast desert landscapes to the grandest canyon of them all, the Grand Canyon. Carved out over millions of years by the Colorado River, it's regarded as one of the 7 natural wonders of the world, and is a sight to behold. You can hike the spectacular South Rim Trail at sunset then kick back and enjoy a good old American BBQ.

Day 3: Grand Canyon National Park & Las Vegas

Greet the rising sun for a last view of the Grand Canyon on an optional (and highly recommended) helicopter flight before stepping back in time on the legendary historic Route 66. Stop at Hoover Dam with the chance to walk across before arriving in the neon metropolis of Las Vegas with a stop to the iconic Las Vegas sign, it's time for our included limousine tour and a big night out.

Day 4: Las Vegas & Los Angeles

Enjoy a much needed lie-in or take the chance to hit Vegas' famous malls before turning up the road trip anthems and heading back to Los Angeles.

This tour ends at our gateway hotel at approximately 17:00 hrs. We can book you post-tour accommodation at our gateway hotel if required. If you are planning to fly tonight, please do not book a flight that departs before 21:00 hrs.
