Information and safety
We thoroughly prepare our passengers with pre-departure safety tips and destination information and offer detailed explanation of all aspects of tour in the first night orientation.

Gateway hotels in cities
Book extra days before of after your tour to sightsee in the city on your own - we don't always include these as part of our tour to maximize time at "hard to reach" areas. With discounted rates and the companionship of other travellers you'll save money & meet new friends.

Full days of adventure & more 2-3 night stops
No wasted time on tour - we utilise everyday to it's fullest. Time to explore each location - not just photo stops. TrekAmerica offers more two night stops than any other operator, as we believe it incredibly important to let you linger longer in the most popular destinations.

Flexibility of itinerary
Our tours have been carefully chosen to include the best night stops and highlights. However, as operational conditions and group interests can vary from one departure to the next, you and your fellow Trekkers, with the advice of your Trek leader, may choose to modify certain suggested night stops - although the tour leader has the final say!

Food kitty
When camping, our passengers contribute US$10 a day to a food kitty, allowing us to purchase food as a group and prepare healthy and delicious meals at a fraction of the cost of eating out every night.

No forced single supplements
With most of our Trekkers Travelling independently, we pair single travellers with others of the same sex, ensuring single travellers aren't penalised with additional costs*.

Included activities on every trek
In addition to the many included highlights and activities, there are also many more optional activities to choose, from whitewater rafting and 4x4 tours, to horseback riding and swamp tours. This way each member of the group can choose exactly what they want to do according to their own taste and budget.

Payment procedures
A deposit of only 10% or US$200, whichever is greater, is due at time of booking. Remainder is due 8 weeks prior to tour departure.

Services of an experienced TrekAmerica tour leader
Our tour leaders know the best places to go, how to get there and what to do when you arrive, ensuring you make the most of every moment. All our tour leaders are CPR trained, have first-aid certification as well as a certified commercial driver's license.
