Akif is from Germany and was an au pair for two little girls at his host family in Connecticut. He sent us a photo of himself and two-year old Olivia enjoying the Pacific coast in California.

Cristina is an au pair from Spain and is currently living with her host family in Texas. She is having such a great time that she is extending to stay for another year with the same family! Our 2nd prize winner is Ivanka Sevcikova for sending us a very amusing photo! Her picture is taken at the entrance of Death Valley Nat. Park, CA last October. "I'm with friends who are also au pairs from Slovakia, Czech Republic, Panama & Israel. I sent this picture, because it's one of my favourites. I think it's very funny. It was my idea to pretend that everyone is dead - because of the name of the place." Ivanka is from Slovakia and is currently living with her host family in New York. She will receive a $50 Starbucks gift card and a TrekAmerica T-shirt.

Our 3rd prize winner is Lena Lundahl for sending us a stunning photo of her TrekAmerica trip to Alaska in June 2007. "I just loved how beautiful it was everywhere with all the snowcapped mountains and clear lakes. And the fresh air was a nice break from the pollution in New York City!" Lena is from Sweden and is currently living with her host family in New Jersey. She will receive a $25 gift card and a TrekAmerica T-shirt.
