AMERICA'S BIG 3 NATIONAL PARKS
Nature! We've got more nature than a naturalist and you don't have to run down the street naked to experience it. With vast stretches of North America's wilderness set aside as national and states parks, theres no shortage of opportunities to leave civilisation far behind and take a walk on the wild side!
GRAND CANYON

If you had the chance to see one thing in the states it would have to be the Grand Canyon, but even as you stand at the rim or hike down into the canyon it's difficult to grasp the size of this 450 km long, 25 km wide and 1.5 km deep gash in the earth's surface. You'll celebrate with Champagne as the sun sets over the canyon rim, wake to the crimson ochre glow of the canyon at dawn and hike the switch back trails to Plateau Point, perched high over the raging Colorado River.
YELLOWSTONE

Yellowstone National Park was established back in 1872 and was the world's first ever national park, a testament to it being one of the most spectaular and diverse wilderness regions on Earth. Yellowstone has the largest concentration of wildlife in the lower 48 states, over 61 different mammals including grizzly bear, bison and grey wolf, and arguably the largest concentration of waterfalls on the planet, with over 290 in all. With over 300 geysers and hot springs, you can soak in Yellowstone's Boiling River and watch famous Old Faithful blow her top.
YOSEMITE

A 'picture postcard' is the only way to describe the awesome site of Yosemite National Park. With its massive granite monoliths shooting skyward, giant sequoia groves and spectacular waterfalls plunging hundreds of feet to the valley floor, you'd think Yosemite National Park was an adventure playground made for giants. White-water rafting, hiking or mountain biking are just some of the activities the area has to offer, but the 360 degree views from the top of Half Dome, the dramatic rock monolith that stands tall over the entire park, will take your American adventure to new heights.
