This was, without a doubt, the best thing i've ever done. It sounds corny but it was an experience of a lifetime! Our group was made up of 9 plus our tour guide Damian B who i cannot praise enough. He made this trip come to life for us, what an amazing guy. I made some life long friends from all over the world too. We had English, Norwegian, Swiss, Danish and Korean in our group.

We travelled up along the beautiful Californian coast taking in the sights, even our lunch stops were breath taking - Horseshoe Bend for example. San Francisco was amazing and i highly recommend a trip to Alcatraz and the sunset harbour cruise from Pier 39.

Then onto Yosemite National Park which totally blew me away. I was speechless with the sheer beauty of it. We even saw a Black Bear. Zion National Park and Bryce were stunning. Monument Valley with the Navajo overnight tour was awe inspiring and our incredibly friendly Navajo tour guide showed us around parts that 'Joe Public' do not get to see.

Easton's cowboy camp Utah was incredible and though i was nervous about the horse riding, it was easy and i was beaming afterwards. BTW the chef at Easton's cooked us the best steak dinner ever. No steak will ever compare! In Arches we hiked, had sunset meals at Canyonlands and went white water rafting on the Colorado River - I've seriously not laughed so much in years. Vegas was just pure fun. We had a suite for our hotel room with 3 pools and all within walking distance from the strip.

Each national park we visited was unique and i would go back to all of them in a heart beat (Yosemite and Zion were my favourite). I expected to enjoy myself but i never could have imagined i'd love it that much. It was my first Trek America but will not be my last and it has opened my eyes as to how much America has to offer. I did Westerner 3 well over a month ago now but I still find myself smiling at some of the memories. If you are debating whether or not to go on a trek then do it - you will not regret it I promise.
