The 21 days on the Southern Sun trek was the most amazing time of my life!! I seriously loved every minute of it!
I joined the trek in NYC having spent 2 months at camp in New York hoping for some 'me' time!! I made the most amazing friends who I shared the most fabulous places and scenery with, also our tour guide Tiffany Behling was fantastic, this lady knows her stuff! If you are looking at doing this trek - I would not hestitate, it was the best thing I have ever done in my life!
You get to see so many different places in those 21 days and at the end you think WOW, from NYC to Washington to Deep South and the you end up hitting the desert, it amazes you!
In addition, I got to do things you only dream of, I got to go horse back riding through the desert, swamping on a boat and coming close to real live alligators, New Orleans speaks for itself, New Mexico and White Sands, Grand Canyon and the helicopter ride over it, Las Vegas! So many wonderful experiences that you will cherish forever!
I miss cooking on the stove, putting up and down our tents, carrying all the luggage into the back of the van, being DJ at the front, Wal-Mart stops.. I miss Trek!!!
