I had an awesome time on the Best Of The East trip! Not only did I get to see a lot of the beautiful places of America, but I got to be with an incredible group of people! I also met a girl, who I had a sort of short romance with, but she lives in Australia, and I live in Norway, so nothing more can happen between us, I'm afraid.
Anyways, I shared a tent with this British Tottenham Hotspur supporter who brought a lot of humour into the group. He was awesome and he swore and cursed all the time, just like some of the big supporters do! (I look forward to you coming over to Norway, Neal!)
Our tour guide was fantastic as well. He drove us wherever we wanted, and you could tell that this was something he had done quite a few times. The group was really together, and we bonded from the first day on! We were 6 from England, 3 from Denmark, 2 from Korea, 1 from Germany, 1 from New York, 1 from Norway (me!) and one from Australia, who made an outstanding group of people.
I plan on going on another Trek next summer, but Mike (our tour guide) said this was the best group he'd ever had, so the thought of going on another Trek next year intimidates me a bit. Can it get better??
